The 2017 countdown to summer has begun! The Kennebunks have had a taste of summer already with some of our Spring days having reached temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s! When we have a Spring like that, we know it is time to pull out the beach gear and dust off last year’s sand. At The Inn at English Meadows, that is exactly what we’ve done! Did you know that when you stay with us, all you need to pack is your swimsuit and your favorite sunscreen? We can supply you with beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, a beach parking pass and beach directions! All you have to do is decide which beach you want to explore and what form of transportation you will take.

We are proud to share the news that Select Registry announced that the Inn at English Meadows has joined its portfolio of celebrated B&Bs.
“Only 330 properties throughout North America have qualified for the Select Registry designation,” explains Will Carlson, the association’s executive director. “Each property must pass rigorous, unannounced inspections to attain and then maintain its membership. We set the bar extremely high. Our goal is to give guests the assurance that when they check into a Select Registry inn, they’re in for an exceptional experience.”
Select Registry properties combine the charm of B&Bs with modern comforts like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions and complimentary breakfasts featuring contemporary gourmet cuisine, according to Carlson. He says the 22 new member inns offer a range of getaways, from adventure travel to romantic escapes. They are located in the countryside and in major cities, from Washington’s Cascade Mountains to Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks and Florida’s sunny shores. We are pleased to join this distinguished group of properties, offering a chic and relaxing getaway in Southern coastal Maine.
The Inn at English Meadows has launched their new website. The Inn at English Meadows is a modern, chic bed and breakfast located in the Kennebunk’s Lower Village, and a enjoyable 8 minute walk from Dock Square Kennebunkport, Maine. This beautiful new site really showcases the wonderfully modern decor, deliciously prepared three course breakfast items, cozy rooms and the Inn’s convenient location by many local attractions and activities. The new website really compliments the recent renovation of The Inn at English Meadows located in Kennebunk Maine.
