Begun in 2009 as a way of celebrating Spring’s imminent return, Maine Restaurant Week is also an opportunity for local chefs to strut their stuff. The biggest payoff, though, is for the gourmands who know to come take advantage not only of the deals but this culinary burst of creativity signaling the official start of the dining season.
