Pop-Up Dinners have been gaining in popularity of late – and why not? When it comes to experiential dining, a Pop-Up Dinner can be hard to beat. The idea of transforming an otherwise unsuspecting space into a temporary restaurant offers lots of unique appeal.
And when the event takes place at a venue as beautiful as Kennebunk’s historic Inn at English Meadows? You know you’re in for a treat!
The English Meadows Supper Club is held on the grounds of The Inn at English Meadows, here in Kennebunk, Maine. Our supper club offers monthly, locally sourced, five course, wine paired meals.
Weather permitting, English Meadows Supper Club Pop-Up Dinners will be held on the patio, in the gorgeous outdoors, with our Kennebunk B&B as your backdrop. Should the weather intrude, we simply shift the Supper Club inside of our 1860’s, Greek Revival mansion. Either option provides a lovely setting for any Pop-Up Dinner experience.
Of course, atmosphere is only one part of the Pop-Up Dining experience. While the venue is important, it doesn’t mean a thing if the meal can’t compete with the surroundings.
An English Meadows Supper Club dinner always contains the freshest of locally sourced ingredients when possible. We’re passionate about the food we serve, where it comes from, and how it is prepared.
Our Guest Chef for the June 24th English Meadows Supper Club Pop-Up Dinner is Cecelia Bye .
Cecelia Bye is the former Sous Chef of EVO Restaurant and Bar. Cecelia came up through the NYC service industry ranks before moving to Portland to work as an EVO prep cook. She quickly rose in the ranks to become Sous Chef to EVO Executive Chef Matt Ginn.
Cecelia has a background in Mediterranean flavors and is passionate about wholesome, healthy meals. Cecilia continues to works with EVO as well as collaborating with Curate Maine for food centered events like the English Meadows Supper Club.

OYSTER – garlic scape mignonette
ZUCCHINI BLOSSOM – goat cheese, arugula, honey, black pepper
QUAIL EGG – asparagus, pickled rhubarb, flatbread
PEA GNOCCHI – pancetta, ham broth, pea greens
PANNA COTTA – yogurt, rhubarb
