Maine Restaurant Week just passed and it got us to thinking about the Kennebunks’ best restaurants. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport offer seemingly endless choices, from casual to fine dining, an array of styles from traditional American to Mexican, French, Italian, Thai – and of course an abundance of fresh lobster!
Putting together a list of the Kennebunks’ best restaurants isn’t that easy. The Kennebunks are a culinary crossroads, replete with an assortment of unbelievably good dining venues. There simply isn’t space enough to list every great restaurant in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, much less those in Portland and the rest of the immediate area!
Rather than use some online list of the top 10 Kennebunk restaurants, we chose to use our own experiences – and those of our guests – to make our own list. Of course, choosing only 10 out of well over 70 available area restaurants means some very good, local dining establishments were left out.
Thus, we offer up this list of the Kennebunks’ best restaurants not as a final word but a guide to the wide variety of superior caliber dining one can find here in the Kennebunks.
