During Maine Restaurant Week, across the state, participating restaurants will offer multi-course, prix fixe meals from $25 for dinner, and $15 for lunch. Incredible culinary opportunities will abound!
Begun in 2009 as a way of celebrating Spring’s imminent return, Maine Restaurant Week is also an opportunity for local chefs to strut their stuff. The biggest payoff, though, is for the gourmands who know to come take advantage not only of the deals but this culinary burst of creativity signaling the official start of the dining season.
Kennebunk’s own Federal Jack’s – 8 Western Ave. (207) 967-4322 – is one of the restaurants participating in Maine Restaurant Week. In addition to a selection of fresh, craft beers on tap, brewed just downstairs at the Kennebunkport Brewing Company, Federal Jack’s offers uncommonly excellent pub fare, featuring a monthly “Locavore” menu. Stop by for a tour of the brewery downstairs, try a flight of our brews, and take advantage of their Maine Restaurant Week prix fixe meal for only $25!
A still-growing, full list of participating restaurants can be found on the Maine Restaurant Week website. Maine Restaurant Week is not just fantastic deals on outstanding food, either – it’s also special events!
