The 28th annual Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival – Saturday, September 12, 2015 – Sunday, September 13, 2015 – is a prestigious event that brings more than 100 juried, master artisans to Wells, Maine every year, the weekend after Labor Day, for 2 days of spectacular crafts, food, music, and fun!
If you’re a fan of fine arts and crafts – or just a great time at a spectacular Maine seaside setting – then the Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival is for you! Jury-selected, one of a kind, hand-wrought jewelry, pottery, wood, glass, fiber arts, and more are the focus at this long-lived and highly popular coastal festival, with artisans coming in from across the region to share and sell their wares.
One of the longest-running, juried craft festivals in Maine, the Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival 2015 is more than just fine arts and crafts vendors, however. Along with all the creative, eye-catching, and useful items on display at the show, you’ll also be entertained by toe-tapping, live music.
What about food and drink? The Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival also provides for that with vendors on hand like Stonewall Kitchen and Duffy’s Tavern & Grill offering fresh and hot delicious food as well as beer and wine to help keep you going the whole weekend through!
The Wells Reserve at Laudholm is a National Estuarine Research Reserve with its headquarters listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Both the Wells Reserve and the Laudholm Trust are committed to the evolution of the Wells Reserve at Laudholm as a center for the protection of coastal environment.
Add in ample parking, $8,000 in raffle prizes, and a portion of the proceeds from the festival going towards protecting hundreds of acres of historic coastal property and who wouldn’t want to attend?
