Inn at English Meadows (Kennebunk - Kennebunkport, Maine)

A New Face at The Inn at English Meadows

December 7, 2011 by englishmeadows

“Hi!. My name is Bailey, and I’m an English Goldendoodle. I live here, at The Inn at English Meadows, a Kennebunkport/Kennebunk Bed and Breakfast. I’ve been here almost one week.

Liz, Bailey, and Eric.

Liz found me at a breeder’s down in Georgia, where I was born. She thought I would be a great surprise Hannukah / Christmas / Anniversary / Birthday present for Eric, and boy, was she right. Eric loves me! I love him! Life is good.

I love to meet new people, too, and Eric and Liz say I’ll get to meet the folks who come to stay at our Kennebunkport/Kennebunk Bed and Breakfast. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed inside the common areas, the kitchen, or any guest rooms. Even though I’m hypo-allergenic and I don’t shed, Eric and Liz say I have to stay outside or in their quarters.

I hope many guests will say hi to me and maybe even play with me a bit. I love to play! It would also be fun for me to play with other dogs. Eric and Liz say that dogs are allowed in the bungalow–except me, of course.

I’m working hard to learn all the rules, and Eric and Liz are helping me. Right now I’m just under three months old and I weigh less than 20 pounds. I’m told I should be about 55 pounds when I’m fully grown. I can’t wait!

I look forward to meeting you all, and to making lots of new friends. Hope to see you soon at my new home, The Inn at English Meadows.”
